Congressional Visit

Retractable Technologies, Inc. (RTI) welcomed staff members, Bryan Flores (Senator Cornyn) Collin McLochlin (Senator Cornyn), Giovanni Catanzaro (Senator Cruz), and Mitch Kipp (Congressman Gill), along with key leaders from the Town of Little Elm, including Mayor Curtis Cornelious, the President of the Little Elm Economic Development Corporation Neil Blais , Town Manager Matt Muellar, Deputy Town Manager Doug Peach, Executive Director Jennette Espinosa Jennette, Economic Development Manager Jennifer Eusse, and Director of Tourism & Communications Drew Bailey for a comprehensive tour of RTI’s state-of-the-art manufacturing facility.

 

 

During the visit, guests had the opportunity to witness firsthand RTI’s advanced syringe production processes, which are crucial for public health initiatives across the United States. As a pioneer in domestic syringe manufacturing, RTI emphasized the importance of maintaining a robust domestic supply chain to ensure national preparedness for future healthcare challenges.

 

 

The tour included discussions on the significance of federal policies that support small businesses like RTI. The visit reaffirmed RTI’s dedication to producing high-quality, American-made medical devices while fostering strong partnerships with local and federal stakeholders. As the company continues to expand, RTI remains committed to advocating for policies that sustain domestic manufacturing and enhance national health security.
