We are the world leader in retractable needle technology. The market research and report company Frost & Sullivan acknowledged our expertise when they called our VanishPoint® safety syringe is “the gold standard in retractable syringes” (Frost & Sullivan, 2003).

Retractable Technologies, Inc., exemplifies innovation and commitment to health, safety, and the environment. We are deeply involved in everything that we make and do, down to the buildings we make to build our own products. Instead of devoting an entire department to making cold calls no one wants to pick up, we developed our own innovative approach to sales using AI tools and strategies that direct our sales personnel to focus on the customers and potential customers that are most likely to be receptive.

Our employees wrote our Vision Statement, which says, “Through innovation, education, and the development of safe and reliable medical devices, we strive to be a catalyst in reducing the worldwide spread of infectious disease.”

What we bring to the marketplace is an array of products with innovative and unique technology. From June 2020 to March 2022, we produced more than 700 million safe syringes with an infinitesimal number of post-use accidental needlestick injuries reported.

RTI is a “green” company that acts in environmentally responsible ways. We constantly challenge ourselves to conduct the corporation in a way that helps preserve and save the environment. By incorporating environmental efficiency in every department. From recycling the excess plastic our production makes, to free honey we obtain from our own beehives, we make sustainably part of our daily lives.

I have worked at RTI for 27 years. I recognize that our people are dedicated people and believe in our Technology and Company. One of the best things about working here is the fact that RTI continues to achieve our vision and mission with top quality products that achieve Healthcare worker safety.

I joined the company in 1996 (28 years ago). Innovative! RTI is built on innovation. The culture is geared toward problem-solving using new and creative approaches. As a registered nurse, I know how challenging and stressful working in healthcare settings can be. I am extremely proud to be part of an organization making healthcare safer for healthcare workers, as well as patients.

I’ve been at RTI for 27 years. It is like a family atmosphere. I feel that I have the ability to help people in by assisting in reducing the worldwide spread of infectious diseases by inspecting the product, ensuring that products meet all specifications, are safe for customers and patients, and by releasing the lots to the public.
